Lesson plan for: Sunday, September 13th, 2026

Our Boulders group—for students entering Grades 5–8 this fall—is continuing our series called Luke — Son of God! This week (September 13th), our lesson focuses on the Big Idea that Jesus lived a human life. Diving into the story of Boy Jesus at the Temple (Luke 2:41-52), students will learn that Jesus lived a real human life just like us. They will also discover that He lived in a physical body, needed to learn and grow, and experienced everything that it means to be human—even doing typical 12-year-old boy things!
