Lesson plan for: Sunday, September 20th, 2026

Our Boulders group—for students entering Grades 5–8 this fall—is continuing our series called Luke — Son of God! This week (September 20th), our lesson focuses on the Big Idea that Jesus is God's kid. Diving into the story of Jesus' Baptism (Luke 3:1-22), students will learn that Jesus was baptized and set an example for us. They will also discover that we are also God's kids, and He loves us more than anyone else ever will—we don't need to do anything to "earn" His love!
