Lesson plan for: Sunday, October 11th, 2026

Our Boulders group—for students entering Grades 5–8 this fall—is continuing our series called Exodus Wilderness! In this series, kids will follow the story of Moses and the Israelites as they roam the wilderness. Along the way, they will discover the truth that God always hears us, helps us live the best way, wants to be close to us, loves us with an unconditional love, and equips us with gifts, skills, and abilities for his great work.

This Sunday (October 11th), our lesson focuses on the Big Idea that God helps us live the best way. Diving into the story of God's Law found in Exodus 18-24, students will learn that God's way is always the best way for us. They will also discuss how, even though we might not always understand why He asks certain things of us, we can trust that His way is best!
