Kids Rock

Lesson plan for: Sunday, October 4th, 2026

Our Kids Rock group—for students entering Grades 2–4 this fall—is starting a new series called Genesis Relationships! We will look at the story of Jacob to discover how our relationship with God impacts every other relationship in our lives.

This Sunday (October 4th), our lesson explores the "Stairway to Heaven" story found in Genesis 28:1-22. Together, children will learn our Big Idea for the week: God is with us wherever we go. They will discover that no matter where they are, God is there too, and there is nothing, no one, no place, or thing that can separate them from Him!
